At ACTEX Learning, we offer market-leading, continuously improved educational resources to students, professors, and professionals alike.

Our evolution as a company began in 1972 with Dick London and Geoff Crofts at Northeastern University in Boston, with the publication of study manuals created to assist actuarial students with their exam preparation. These manuals were popularly known as Northeastern Study Guides. The ACTEX name was adopted in 1980, as an acronym for "actuarial texts," when we ended our affiliation with Northeastern University.

In 1985 we published our first textbook, and began an active program of textbook development in addition to the established study manual series. Since our incorporation in 1986, we have continued to grow, and currently publish an extensive line of textbooks targeted toward current and aspiring actuaries.

Today, in 2022, ACTEX Learning has become a more digitally focused company. We continue to provide the same high-quality study materials that we always have, but our online study platform Actuarial University has made it easier than ever to access Study Manuals, Flashcards, Textbooks, and many other products and tools. Our primary goal still is, and always will be, to help you pass your exams!

*The first name and last initial of each winner will be announced each week. If you wish to remain fully anonymous, please contact support@actexmadriver.com when we email you to inform you that you've won.
